The Fika experience
I thought I would put together a place where people can go to look into my process from the first Hello to the time we say see you next time.
When getting in touch via my contact page on my website, you will find a form where you will be asked to fill in some key questions. These help for me to know the type of session you are after & when you are hoping to book in for. We will then decide on a date, or a tentative date based your due date if you're pregnant to secure a spot for you. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am here to make the whole process smooth and easy for you.
Next, you will find an email in your inbox where you will find a link to your invoice, contract & a questionnaire.Please have your contract signed once you have read over it. I really enjoy going over your questionnaire, it is a chance for me to get to know you, your family & what you hope to achieve from our session. I do require a $100 deposit to be paid within 48hrs of receiving your invoice to confirm your session, with the full balance due 1 week prior to your session date.
The week prior to our booking I will reach out to confirm our session time, exact location. The weather plays a huge part in the outdoor session, so I like to make sure this is all good before going over all of the final details incase we have to make a change last minute.
I provide al client wardrobe full of beautiful outfits for mum Bub and children that will help with the style of your photos. The use of all of my client wardrobe items are included in all of my packages. We can arrange a time for you to come and try them on in the studio or I can bring them along to the session for you. If you're having a studio session, all options are available and ready for when you arrive
If you wish for me to bring any items from the client wardrobe, now is the time to let me know. I am more than happy to bring a few items for you.
The day of the session I will meet you at our location for an afternoon ready to create some magic. All I encourage, is for you to turn up to your session with an open mind and as relaxed as possible. Let your hair down and have some fun together. Be present with each other and in the moment. Please don’t stress over your children looking at the camera, just love each other and soak it all in, there is always beauty in the chaos.
After the session I will back up and cull all of your images and start the editing process. My usual wait time is 3 weeks to a month, dependant on my work load. With your permission I will sometimes share some sneak peek's images to my social media for you to see. I know just how exciting it is awaiting your gallery of images so I do like to offer these sneak peeks for you. Sometimes it takes a little longer than usual, depending on my work flow.
Once your images are edited and ready to head home to you, I will email you an online gallery where you can go in and create a favourites list for the number of selected images in your package. You also have the option to upgrade to the full gallery here as well.
All of my clients will receive either a discount on their next session or extra images included, the coice is yours. I also have a brilliant referral special for all of my previous clients. Pass my name on to your friends and family, and if they book with me, you get $25 off of your next session with me!
